Dreading returning to work and missing all those precious moments with your children?

Or maybe you just want that little bit of extra income?

Well, you’re in good company here, I’ve listed 5 side hustles you can start today!

1. Virtual Assistant

Are you organized? Proficient in Microsoft Office? Have basic admin skills? Love the idea of working remotely? A Virtual Assistant role is probably a good option for you then.

The possibilities of the services you can provide are huge. Even if you’d rather not do diary management.

  • Are you a good writer? Offer content writing services.
  • An elite social media fanatic? Offer social media services.
  • A whiz with video editing? Yep, offer those services too!
  • Are you a Pinterest superstar? Provide Pinterest Management services. There’s a market out there if this is something you wish to get into, with the potential for big money

2. Pinterest Manager

Yeah, that’s actually a well paid real-life job! And there’s a huge market for it right now. Do you already use Pinterest for your own personal plans?

Maybe you’ve got boards planning out your future house, or dream destinations you wish to travel to.

Do you research skincare on Pinterest, and have boards dedicated to the products you intend to buy?

That’s the thing with Pinterest, users love to create visual boards for products or services they intend to buy or use. That’s why it’s so vital for businesses to utilize Pinterest because of that.

But not all businesses have the time or know-how. That’s where you’ll come in! You’ll allow them to concentrate on other areas of their business, while you inflate their followers and website clicks.

3. Online Teaching

This position does require a TEFL certificate, however, you don’t necessarily need a degree. Companies like Palfish take on teachers without a degree, and their hours are really flexible.

This will depend on where you’re based in the world as to whether it’s feasible, as you will be teaching Chinese students, and their key times are 6pm to 9pm CST.

There’s good money to be made with online teaching. Plus you can do as little or as much as you like with Palfish.

Another great company is Landi who pays $21 an hour, although they’re not quite as flexible as Palfish with regards to the schedule.

Check out my comprehensive guide about the two, with the opportunity to earn $80.

4. Blogging

Blogging is great because it is so individual and unique to you. Even with hundreds of thousands of blogs already written in your niche, they haven’t been written by you yet. In your tone, with your personal touch and your expertise.

There’s an audience out there for you. All you need to do is get that first blog written to start reaching them. Now, blogging isn’t going to make you money overnight, but there’s some serious dollar to be made from it if you’re doing it right.

I’ve got some great tips for you to get your blog started.
